Local clubs run on volunteers and sponsors. Good club gear helps with both. Players feel like a team, and sponsors see their logo on the sideline every weekend.
What clubs usually order
Many clubs buy playing strips separately and come to us for everything worn off the field:
- Training tops and shorts
- Warm-up hoodies and jackets for cold mornings
- Polos for coaches, managers and committee members
- Caps, beanies and kit bags
- Hi-vis vests for car park and event volunteers
Garments from AS Colour, Bocini and Grace Collection cover most of these. Ask about kids' sizes when you enquire, since junior and senior players often need the same item in very different sizes.
Fitting sponsors on the gear
Sponsors often help fund the season, so their logos need to look good. Some practical steps:
- Agree placement with each sponsor before you order, such as the back, a sleeve or the lower front.
- Collect logo files directly from each sponsor. Vector files such as PDF, EPS or SVG work best.
- Give your main sponsor the largest, clearest spot, and keep smaller logos at a size that can still be read.
- Leave the chest free for the club crest.
The sponsor line-up often changes from one season to the next. DTF printing suits sponsor logos because it handles full-colour artwork, and each new run can carry the current sponsors. The crest usually looks best stitched with embroidery, especially on polos and jackets.
Merchandise that raises money
Club merch is one of the simpler fundraisers to run. Hoodies, caps and tees with the club crest are popular with players and parents. To keep it manageable:
- Run a pre-order window, so you only order what people have paid for
- Share a size chart for each garment and ask people to check it before ordering
- Set a closing date that leaves time for production before the season starts or presentation night
Our promotional products range adds drink bottles, stubby holders and bags to sell alongside the clothing.
Volunteers and match day
Canteen and barbecue volunteers may want aprons with the club crest. Car park and ground marshals need hi-vis vests so drivers can see them. A volunteer tee in the club colours makes helpers easy to find on a busy game day.
Community groups
Service clubs, charities, choirs and event committees need uniforms too. A matching polo or tee makes members easy to find at a stall or community event. If your crest is old or only exists on paper, our design team can redraw it for stitching and printing.
Before the season starts
Plan your order early, so gear arrives before round one. Collect sizes from every player and coach first. Most orders are completed within 10 business days once artwork and sizes are confirmed.
