Screen printing

Bold, hard-wearing prints on tees, hoodies and workwear, best suited to larger runs of the same design.

Screen printing is a proven way to put your logo on garments that get worn and washed week after week. The ink sits on the fabric as a bold, solid layer, so colours stay strong and edges stay sharp. It is the usual choice for larger orders where every garment carries the same artwork.

We offer screen printing as part of our in-house decoration service at our Unanderra workshop. That means one team looks after your artwork, your garments and the finished print.

Where screen printing works well

  • Team uniforms and staff tees in larger quantities
  • Event shirts, club kit and school or community merchandise
  • Hoodies, singlets and hi-vis with a bold chest or back print
  • Logos and text with a limited number of solid colours

Screen printing or DTF?

Both put your artwork on a garment, and each has its place. Screen printing is a strong fit for larger runs of the same design with solid colours. Direct-to-film printing suits detailed, full-colour artwork and smaller jobs, and it works on a wide range of fabrics. If your logo is stitched rather than printed, see embroidery. Not sure which to choose? Read our guide to DTF printing or embroidery for uniforms, or send us the logo and we will recommend one.

How it works

  1. Tell us the garments, sizes and quantities, and send your logo.
  2. Our design team prepares the artwork for printing.
  3. You approve a proof before we print anything.
  4. We print your order in-house and have it ready for you. Most orders are completed within 10 business days.

We supply the garments too. Browse our workwear, hi-vis and corporate uniforms, or bring in garments you already own. Call 02 4228 3508 or use the contact form to get a quote.

Common questions

When is screen printing the right choice?
Screen printing suits larger runs of the same design, such as team uniforms, event shirts and club kit. For short runs or very detailed full-colour artwork, direct-to-film printing is often the better fit.
How many colours can a screen print have?
It depends on the artwork. Each colour in a screen print is applied separately, so simple logos with a few solid colours work best. Send us the design and we will tell you what is practical.
Will the print last through repeated washing?
Screen prints are known for being durable and holding their colour, which is why they are a common choice for work uniforms. Washing the garment inside out and following the care label helps any print last.

Australian made, organic and eco-friendly options

Many buyers ask for these first, so we make them easy to find.

  • Australian made gear

Australian made garments and products are available for teams that want to back local manufacturing. Ask us which items in your range are made in Australia and we will point you to them.

  • Organic options

Organic cotton options are available for tees, polos and more, for businesses, schools and events that want a lower-impact garment. Tell us what you need and we will show you what is on offer.

  • Environmentally friendly

We decorate to order, in-house, so nothing is made in bulk that you do not need, and we help you choose garments built to last. Fewer replacements means less waste.
