Workwear

Everyday work clothing for your crew, in women's and men's fits, branded with your logo at our Unanderra workshop.

Workwear is the clothing your crew wears on the job every day. Good workwear fits the person and holds up to the work. HTG Group supplies work shirts, pants, shorts, overalls, jackets and fleece, and we brand them with your logo at our workshop in Unanderra, Wollongong.

We are a family-owned, woman-led business. Since 2007 we have kitted out crews in the Illawarra and across Australia.

What we supply

  • Work shirts in long and short sleeves
  • Polos for lighter work and warmer days
  • Cargo pants, work pants and shorts
  • Overalls and coveralls
  • Jackets, vests and fleece for cooler months
  • Women's and men's fits across most of the range

For hi-vis versions, see our hi-vis page. For gloves, boots, glasses and other protective gear, see PPE.

Brands

We are an authorised supplier of Bisley Workwear, DNC Workwear, JB's Wear and Bocini, along with the other labels on our brands page. If your crew already likes a particular brand, tell us and we will work from that.

Fabrics

Most work clothing uses one of a few fabric types.

  • Cotton drill is a heavy, hard-wearing cotton. It is a common choice for work shirts and pants.
  • Poly-cotton blends mix cotton with polyester. They tend to dry faster and hold their shape through washing.
  • Lightweight and vented styles help crews stay cooler in hot weather.
  • Stretch fabrics give more movement for people who kneel and climb all day.

Weight and feel vary between brands and styles, so ask us about the fabric of any garment you are considering.

Fits for women and men

Workwear that does not fit tends to get swapped for personal clothing, and then the crew no longer matches. Women's fits are cut differently through the shoulders, chest, waist and hips. We supply women's and men's fits across most of our ranges, so everyone can wear the same uniform. Sizing varies between brands, so ask each person to check the size chart for the exact garment.

Layering through the year

Plan summer and winter gear together. In summer, crews often want lighter shirts and shorts, with long sleeves for sun protection outdoors. In winter, they add a fleece or jacket over the top. If your crew also needs hi-vis, the outer layer should be hi-vis too, or it hides what is underneath. When you plan both seasons at once, your logo sits in the same spot on every layer.

Branding

We brand workwear in-house, so there is no second supplier to manage. Embroidery suits chest logos on shirts, polos and jackets. DTF printing suits large back prints, names and full-colour logos.

Ordering for a crew

  1. Collect each person's size and fit before you order.
  2. Choose the garments for each season so the crew matches all year.
  3. Add a few spares in common sizes for new starters.
  4. Send your logo. A vector file such as PDF, Adobe Illustrator (.ai) or SVG is best, and our design team can prepare anything else.
  5. Approve the pricing and proof, and we brand the order in-house.

Keep a record of the styles, colours and logo positions so reorders match the first batch. Most orders are completed within 10 business days.

We supply crews in construction and civil, mining and resources and transport and logistics. Contact us or call 02 4228 3508.

Australian made, organic and eco-friendly options

Many buyers ask for these first, so we make them easy to find.

  • Australian made gear

Australian made garments and products are available for teams that want to back local manufacturing. Ask us which items in your range are made in Australia and we will point you to them.

  • Organic options

Organic cotton options are available for tees, polos and more, for businesses, schools and events that want a lower-impact garment. Tell us what you need and we will show you what is on offer.

  • Environmentally friendly

We decorate to order, in-house, so nothing is made in bulk that you do not need, and we help you choose garments built to last. Fewer replacements means less waste.
